At the beginning of the second day of the government’s visit to Havana, the president learned at the Enrique José Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences that since this initiative was announced in February, 27 actions have been planned, mainly in the development of infrastructure.

The purpose of this project is to implement research in Ciudad Escolar Libertad, which can then be generalized to other educational communities and thus contribute to the integral formation of science management, according to a note on Twitter from the Presidency of the Republic.

At the meeting, the rector of the University Milda Lesbia Díaz Masip presented an update on the main projects already being developed, many of which link different sectors and companies.

The working agenda of the government’s visit to Havana includes a visit by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero to the municipality of Habana del Este, where he is analyzing the implementation of the territory’s Economic and Social Development Strategy.

The municipality’s mayor, José Ángel Ordaz Pacheco, reports on the situation of the territory in key areas such as health, housing and social development plans.
