According to the Defense Ministry spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, the Aerospace Forces also eliminated three command posts, while the Russian antiaircraft defense shot down one Su-25 fighter and 15 drones, and intercepting two Tochka-U tactical missiles and three multiple missile launcher projectiles.
He explained that during the early morning, three enemy Mi-8 helicopters, three OSA antiaircraft missile systems, 16 warehouses of armaments and military equipment, and 33 checkpoints of Ukrainian units were also eliminated.
The strikes also hit 919 fortifications and areas of concentration of Ukrainian fighters and military equipment, as well as 124 artillery firing points.
Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24, after authorities from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics requested its help to repel increased aggression and intense shelling by Kiev.
