From Tuesday to Friday 29, the event will have Venezuela as guest of honor and also exhibitions and business rounds, there will be space for professional exchange, told Prensa Latina the engineer Inalvis de la Calle, general director of Strategic Development of the Cuban Ministry of Construction.
De la Calle said that up to last Thursday, 2,670 square meters had been contracted for the fair, in which 118 companies from 12 countries will be represented, in addition to three entities from Argentina, Chile and Germany, which will not have a stand, but will share their experiences.
The vice president and spokeswoman of the Fecons 2022 Organizing Committee highlighted the presence of 44 Cuban state-owned enterprises, mixed capital companies, as well as three non-agricultural cooperatives and three national micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
All these economic actors will be present in the business round organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the country, which does not limit bilateral exchanges, he pointed out.
The directive also highlighted the realization of the XIII Scientific and Technical Conference of Construction, on April 27 and 28, with a hybrid format between virtual and face-to-face.
This is the first time we have taken on this challenge, said De la Calle, and added that this will enable the participation of professionals to be extended to many other people who will be connected from different parts of the country.
They will also develop the I International Scientific and Technical Workshop on Alternative Materials and Techniques for Construction, dedicated to earth, red and refractory ceramics, as well as the I International Workshop on Types and Uses of Cements in Cuba.
