In the face of the increase in the number of cases in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair next Wednesday a videoconference meeting with the authorities of the different states and territories of the country to assess the national situation.

So far, in India, more than 1,877 billion doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered and 835 million lab samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, the cause of the pandemic.
