According to the portfolio, by 2025 this indicator will reach 80% and the average income of rural residents will increase at least 1,5 times compared to 2020.

He also recalled that the financing of the national program for the construction of new-style communes exceeds eight and a half billion dollars, four-fifths of which come from local budgets.

Launched in 2010, this movement is transforming the Vietnamese countryside, boosting the specific weight of agriculture in the national economy and fighting poverty in even the most remote areas.

To merit such categorization, communes must meet 20 requirements, among which are profitable and environmentally friendly forms of production, as well as adequate road and infrastructure development.
