The economy is being observed in spite of the pressures from the United States and the global difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a report published on Tuesday on the website of Cubadebate.

The study was highlighted during a meeting of the Council of Ministers.

The meeting was headed by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez and led by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero.

Strengthening the Cuban economy in the context of the world crisis generated by the pandemic was the essential purpose with which the Economic and Social Strategy was designed and approved in 2020, it was informed.

Its constant updating is a working premise in these two years and allows responding to different situations.
