According to Minsap, 9,941,380 people, accounting for 89.7 percent of the population, have already completed the vaccination scheme.

So far, 10,652,739 citizens have received one dose of a homegrown vaccine, 9,399,642 have been administered the second dose, and 9,094,209 have received the third jab.

Cuba’s vaccines are safe and do not cause serious adverse effects, according to successful clinical trials and the vaccination of different segments of the population.

Cuba’s National Statistics and Information Office reported that at the end of 2020, the Cuban population was about 11,180,000.
