During an interaction at the Raisina Dialogue international conference on geopolitics and economy, Jaishankar said that this conflict is currently one of the most dominant issues not only because of the interests or values involved, but also because of the consequences felt throughout the world.
Speaking of the aftermath of the war, the minister stated that “there will be no winners” and added that the most immediate result is the effect on oil and food prices.
The Raisina Dialogue, to end on Wednesday, has as its main guest the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen; several former prime ministers and dignitaries from different countries are also participating.
Last year, the event was held via videoconference due to the circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, although this time it is in person.
The event is organized by the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Observer Research Foundation think tank.
