The director of the Ibn Sina Hospital, Jani Abu Jokha, told the press that Ahmad Muhammad Lotfi Massad, 21, died after being shot in the head.

The Jerusalem Post newspaper revealed that one of the objectives of the raid was to demolish the home of Raad Hazem, the perpetrator of the recent shooting in a Tel Aviv street, which killed three Israelis.

Israel defends the policy of demolitions by stating that they are a key deterrent aimed at stopping other possible attackers.

However, Palestinians and human rights groups condemn the strategy as collective punishment because it affects many people with no role in those incidents.

The Health Ministry recently revealed that the occupying forces killed 355 Palestinians and hurt 16,500 in 2021.

Over twenty people have lost their lives in the West Bank since the start of the military operation.

The campaign coincided with Ramadan, the holy month of Muslims, and the daily incursions that the Israeli military carried out for more than a week against the Temple Mount in East Jerusalem drew harsh criticism from both the Palestinians and the Muslim world.
