During the tour of the different rooms of the center, the only one of its kind in Cuba, Briceño, who is also the Belizean minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment, learned about the events in Cuba over the last six decades.
Briceño has been on an official visit to Havana since April 27, where he held talks with President Miguel Diaz-Canel at the Palace of the Revolution.
On that occasion, the two nations ratified their will to strengthen bilateral cooperation and signed three legal instruments to deepen their ties in the areas of health care, culture and climate change.
As part of his agenda in Cuba, the prime minister visited the exhibition area of the BioHabana 2022 International Congress on Thursday, and identified business opportunities between Cuba and his country.
Havana and Belmopan established diplomatic ties on July 15, 1995.
