Nasrallah stressed in a televised appearance that the Palestinian people increasingly believe in victory and underlined the importance of the regional axis of resistance to protect Jerusalem and al-Aqsa.
In a speech commemorating the International Day of al-Quds (Jerusalem, in Arabic), the Hizbullah chief assured that the last weeks’ military clashes showed the ability to defeat the Zionist enemy.
He said that the operations inside occupied Palestine tell the whole world that the attempts to promote despair among the population have failed.
The leader of the Lebanese Islamic resistance asserted that despite the Israeli sanctions and siege, the axis will not abandon the cause of Palestine.
He pointed out that next May’s parliamentary elections will not keep the Lebanese resistance busy without responding to any Israeli military exercise. Nasrallah called on the enemy not to bet on exhaustion or starvation, for “any act or foolishness will have an immediate response.”
