The exhibition Silver River Theater in Cuba brings together 23 portraits taken by the creator over the course of eight years to artists from that region who brought their talent to Cuba.
They are color photographs of Silver River actors and actresses who performed on Cuban stages. The exhibition covers several years because it includes the main international festivals held in my country, she said.
Among the plays are some that were performed during editions of the Havana International Theater Festival, the Latin American Monologue and Terry Award in Cienfuegos, and Puppets to the Center, in Ciego de Avila.
This is not only what happens in the capital, but also in some provinces of the nation. Some of the events are competitive and in the show there are actors who won the main awards. It gives me great satisfaction that some of them can come and see themselves portrayed, Almaguer affirmed.
For the creator, Filba is an opportunity to exhibit part of the work she has been doing for several years.
Being in Argentina and at the Fair is very important for my career as a theater photographer. This is a chance to show my work and to contribute to the exchange and relations between the two countries, she said.
