Its presidential ticket made up of Gustavo Petro and Francia Marquez is the favorite to win the upcoming elections, according to all polls, and their lead is increasing.
The Latin American Strategic Center for Geopolitics (Celag) recently revealed that Petro leads the polls with 43 percent and is 21 points ahead of Federico Gutierrez, of Equipo por Colombia (right), with 22 percent voting intention.
He is closely followed by Rodolfo Hernandez, of the LIGA de Gobernantes Anticorrupcion (12 percent), and Sergio Fajardo, of Centro Esperanza (nine percent).
The rest of contenders obtained values lower than two percent, the Celag study pointed out.
It is the government proposal of “Pacto Historico”, the clarity of its message and the hope for change that is drawing the electorate’s attention.
As part of his campaign, Petro listens to the concerns and main problems of the population in order to continue building his programmatic platform collectively.
