According to the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), the drugs were found inside 24 sacks found in a 27 feet long boat, on board of which two Dominicans were detained and handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
In the joint operation, two outboard motors of 75 horsepower each, 14 bottles of fuel, radio navigation equipment and other evidence were seized.
The DNCD reported that the seized packages were sent under chain of custody to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences.
