Mexico interested in increasing touristic ties with Cuba

Varadero, Cuba, May 4 (Prensa Latina) The Mexican delegation that attends to the 40th International Tourism Fair in Cuba (FITCuba 2022) showed its interest in increasing ties with this nation regarding leisure matters.

Mexico´s Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco, is attending to the event and he has already met with Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, as part of the encounters scheduled for the meeting in this resort (May 3-7, Plaza América fairgrounds ).

Torruco pointed out that it was a very pleasant meeting with Marrero, whom he already knew when he was Cuba´s Minister of Tourism. The Mexican Minister added that he will take advantage of this working tour to make contacts with tour operators form several countries interested in Mexico.

In his Twitter account, the Mexican Minister indicated his participation in different meetings and tours of the fair, when he also participated in the Sustainable Tourism event organized prior to the beginning of FITCuba 2022.

During this contact, Torruco talked about his country´s tourism policy as a tool for social reconciliation.

The Sustainable Tourism Event was attended by tourism experts and ministers, businessmen and tour operators attending the Fair.
