British Activist confesses love for Cuba

Havana, May 5 (Prensa Latina) Cuba enchanted British activist Rob Miller in 1978 when he participated in the World Festival of Youth and Students held in Havana.

Since then, the Caribbean nation has inspired him solidarity and defense of the world, and in exchange, Cuba has been grateful to him for bringing the Cuban truth and reality to his country.

I have great affection for this people that has withstood the US blockade, he told Prensa Latina.

Miller leads the Campaign for Solidarity with Cuba in the United Kingdom, where he has continuously explained that this policy affects families.

It is currently made up of more than 4,000 individual members and about 23 unions that add up to around four million followers throughout the country.

Thus “we influence the government because these workers have a permanent relationship with the Labor Party.”

Miller is in Cuba alongside 32 young British trade unionists participating in the International Meeting of Solidarity, held in Havana.
