The president’s secretariat for communication and press affairs informed that the letter was addressed to the Cuban head of State, Miguel Diaz-Canel.

According to the source, Lourenço expressed his deep consternation for the accident on May 6 in Cuba and expressed the solidarity of the Angolan Government and on his own behalf to the victims and the people in general.

He also requested that the feelings of condolences be conveyed to those who lost their loved ones in this sad event, the secretariat said.
