According to the agenda, this Wednesday 20 of the presidential candidates will have 15 minutes each to try to convince the deputies.
The rest of the 39 registered candidates will do so tomorrow. Among the candidates are Farmajo, whose term ended in April last year, and former heads of State Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Sheikh Sharif Ahmed.
Others in the race are former Prime Minister Hassan Khaire, Puntland State President Said Abdullahi Deni and former Foreign Minister Abdirizak Mohamed.
The Joint Committee of the two Houses of the Federal Parliament urged the candidates to respect the time allotted for their speeches.
The indirect election is scheduled for this Sunday, the 15th, when the 54 members of the Senate House and the 275 members of the Lower House will cast their votes.
