Addressing the Persian Minister of Health, Bahram Ainollahi, Cabrisas explained that the National Economic Development Plan until 2030 includes a country vision with strategic axes and sectors, with clear objectives to be achieved in stages.
While Iran is advancing towards the same goal with a long-term strategy based on the Economy of Resistance, he said, but both with the conviction of seeking complementarity to achieve strategic objectives proposed by both parties.
The Iranian Health Minister is co-chairing the 18th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission together with other high-level officials representing the Persian government with which Cuba has maintained excellent diplomatic relations since 1979.
Cabrisas praised the potential of both parties to strengthen relations with concrete projects and businesses such as the development of medicine production, mining, oil and agri-food sectors.
There are also great possibilities for common development in the areas of health, nanotechnology and groundwater management, he said.
