Pyongyang, May 15 (Prensa Latina) The top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un paid tribute at the coffin of former vice-chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Yang Hyong Sop.

Jogn Un, who is also general secretary of the Workers’ Party of the DPRK, expressed his deep sorrow over the death of Hyong Sop, who served as a collaborator of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Sung.

He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, Jo Yong Won, Kim Tok Hun, Pak Jong Chon and Ri Pyong Chol, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee, and Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, on the occasion.

The general secretary held a moment of silence in memory of the deceased who devoted all his intelligence and passion to the strengthening of the people’s power and socialist system, the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.
