Authorities report 12 patients due to Saratoga Hotel explosion

Havana, May 16 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reported on Monday that 12 patients remain hospitalized as a result of injuries from the explosion that occurred at the Saratoga Hotel in Havana on May 6.

Among those hospitalized are eight adults: five men and three women; one is in a critical condition, three are seriously ill and four have a stable evolution.

The Minsap pointed out there are four minors still in hospital, two are seriously ill and the other two are in care.

According to the Minsap, so far 99 people have been reported injured, 46 of whom died in the accident (25 men, 21 women, four children, a pregnant woman, and a Spanish woman).
