The day before, Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, who heads the Cuban delegation, inaugurated together with the Persian Minister of Health, Bahram Ainollahi, a plant for the production of the PastoCorona vaccine.

The new center for the mass production of the PastoCorona vaccine injectable is the result of the transfer to the Pateur Institute of the technology of the Cuban Soberana 02 vaccine, a scientific achievement of the Finlay Vaccine Institute.

During the last few hours, the general director of bilateral affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emilio Lozada, held a cordial meeting with the general director for the Americas of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Isa Komeli.

During the meeting, they agreed to continue strengthening the mechanisms for political consultations and emphasized the need to promote the proactive role that both foreign ministries should play in deepening the economic ties of both States.
