The favorite for victory in these elections, Gustavo Petro, of the Historical Pact, began his activities yesterday in the department of Cordoba, one of the territories most affected by the armed strike recently carried out by the criminal group Clan del Golfo.

As in all the cities and towns where he has presented his programmatic platform, he filled the square in Lorica, and warned the community of vote buying operations in favor of Federico Gutiérrez, candidate of the right-wing Team for Colombia, “candidate of (Iván) Duque”.

Petro invited the inhabitants of Lorica to denounce and send to the campaign the videos and photographs of vote buying, so that the legal team will be in charge of making the complaints to the authorities.

“This 29M we are going to overthrow the regime of corruption. Let 29M be a day of freedom. If we want peace, transparency in the State, decency in politics, prosperity as an objective we have to overthrow the regime of corruption”, he exhorted.

He assured that, for this reason, change is needed in Colombia, because it cannot continue like this, that is to fall into the abyss.
