In his opening speech at the 10th 2022 International Meeting of Justice and Law at Havana’s International Conference Center, he expressed satisfaction with the holding of this prestigious meeting on law and justice.
He also thanked the attendance of a representation of jurists from Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia and Europe, who attended this event as a sign of consideration and respect for Cuba’s judicial system, despite the constant blockade of the United States Government against this nation.
He highlighted the intense work by Cuban doctors and biotechnology researchers who produced the vaccines “that allowed us to hold this meeting.”
Before his keynote speech, Remigio expressed his dismay over the recent accident at the Saratoga Hotel that took the lives of 46 people.
The central theme of this scientific event, which will be held until May 20 in Havana, is “Procedural reform in Cuba,” for all the processes and judicial matters in which justice is dispensed.
The program includes six keynote lectures and 17 panels on criminal, civil, family, administrative, labor and commercial matters.
