“The most universal of Cubans, lover of Cuba and its Diaspora, wanted above all things the unity of all the children of our beloved island,” a statement issued by the group and accessed by Prensa Latina said.
Likewise, the Association assured that it is time for unity among all the natives of the Caribbean nation residing inside or outside of it, in view of the escalation of manipulations and hateful actions orchestrated by stateless people from different corners of the world, especially from the United States.
“Martí is more than phrases taken out of context, he is compass and guide; he is theory and practice. Martí is a paradigm of loyalty to the Homeland, with all and for the good of all,” the text refers.
The members of the group emphasized that the National Apostle lives today in the young generation of Cubans and in the descendants in Russia, being an inspiration to root the love for Cuba and its history.
