Salehabadi said so at a meeting with Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas, who is paying an official visit to this capital.
Iran and Cuba have had good relations over the years and, of course, these relations must be expanded and continued in the future, the Iranian banker stressed.
He added that he is willing to develop cooperation with central and commercial development banks.
In recent years, the United States has imposed and tightened cruel sanctions against Iran, and this shows that the imposition of sanctions against countries has become a habit, he noted when referring to the fact that Iran and Cuba face similar obstacles to their development.
The Iranian official hoped that the understandings signed between both countries would begin as soon as possible by creating an operating model and a bilateral and multilateral operating framework.
Meanwhile, Cabrisas spoke about the US sanctions and said that Cuba has also tried to find solutions to deal with them.
