They called for an approach that takes into account the Syrian national interest and has perspectives that contribute to achieving security, stability and the well-being of the Syrian people and supports the fight against terrorism.

According to the Minister, the illegal foreign presence, particularly that of the United States and Turkey, is the main obstacle to the achieving of economic and social stability in the country.

He also mentioned other obstacles such as the occupation of oil, gas and wheat fields by the US military and its separatist militias, and the unilateral coercive measures imposed by Whashington and its European allies.

He also explained the measures taken by the government to promote national reconciliation and the return of displaced persons to their homes, including more than 20 amnesty decrees.
