According to the Ministry’s spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, the Russian aviation also destroyed two fuel warehouses near the city of Odessa, four command posts and seven concentration areas of Ukrainian troops. A Su-25 fighter plane of the enemy forces was brought down in an air combat near the town of Belitskoe, in Donbas, and another aircraft of the same model was intercepted by the air defense near Novoaleksandrovka, in the Ukrainian province of Jerson.
The Russian high-ranking officer said that the air defense, for its part, brought down 14 drones and eight missiles of Ukrainian multiple launch rocket systems.
Since the beginning of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine, on February 24, the Russian army has destroyed 174 planes, 125 helicopters, 966 drones, 315 air defense complexes and 3,182 tanks and armored cars.
Moreover, 402 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,614 howitzers and mortars and 3,054 Ukrainian special military vehicles have been eliminated.
