According to CGTN channel, the national association of that sport decided to not host the third and fourth legs of that competition in Beijing, which has been cancelled due to the resurgence of Covid-19 in many of its districts.

The 2022-Cup season will kick off on December 28 with the first two legs in Montreal, Canada. Beijing was going to host the next two legs of the race in December.

Now the ISU must look for other cities to host the competitions planned to be held in China.

This month, China announced that the 19th Asian Games and Para Games, scheduled for the autumn in the eastern city of Hangzhou, were postponed until further notice.
