The Cuban Embassy in the UAE said through Twitter that such purpose was expressed in a meeting between the Emirati President of the Group of the Committee for Friendship with the Parliaments of North American and Latin American Countries, Tariq Al Tayer, and the first deputy minister of the Higher Education Ministry of Cuba, Congressman Walter Baluja Garcia.
The meeting was also attended by the Cuban ambassador to the UAE, Roberto Blanco; the third secretary of that diplomatic office, Ailyn Martinez; and the Director of Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Higher Education, Iliana Martinez.
