It is on display at the Fayad Jamis Gallery, located in the provincial branch of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba, and the curatorship was in charge of Luis Rey Yero, Doctor of Art Sciences.
A dozen artists from Sancti Spiritus participate in the exhibition, including Luisa M. Serrano (Lichi), Alexander Hernandez, Luis Garcia, Hermes Entenza, Omar Fernandez (Cuti) and Juan Carlos Lage.
In the bunch of proposals presented to the public, according to the catalog, there are those who resort to the metaphor of the fragile paper airplane (Lichi) or the preparations for an inter-oceanic voyage (Alexander and Cuti).
Also noteworthy is the parallel wake left by airplanes as they fly through space without the possibility of joining.
The techniques used were engraving, digital photography, acrylic, crayon, graphite -the last two on cardboard- and oil painting, while among the titles are La Travesía, Encrucijada, A la deriva, Equilibrio, La espera and Buen viaje.
