In his congratulatory message on Africa Day, the Russian president added that the Eurasian nation has always paid special attention to the development of friendly relations with African partners.
In this regard, he argued that the Russia-Africa summit held in the Russian city of Sochi in 2019 created good conditions for developing fruitful cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
The head of state also expressed confidence that his country and African nations, acting together, will be able to develop and realize numerous projects and initiatives in various fields, as a good for the countries and peoples, and “for the sake of strengthening security and stability in Africa and the whole world.”
Putin also highlighted how over the past two decades, African states have achieved much through joint efforts, establishing mechanisms for collective response to local conflicts and crises, thus achieving steady progress in regional integration processes in various formats.
The Russian President also stressed that Africa enjoys a growing prestige on the world stage and plays an increasingly important role in the resolution of important issues on the international agenda.
Putin finally wished his counterparts health and success in his state activities, and peace, well-being and prosperity to all his fellow citizens.
