In a tweet, the president expressed his wish for the speedy recovery of the injured who are still hospitalized.

Health authorities reported that four people were killed in the accident on Tuesday, when a truck on which a score of people were traveling overturned in the vicinity of the municipality of Media Luna, in Granma province, over 700 kilometers east of Havana.

According to Granma daily, 12 people are still in Bayamo and Manzanillo hospitals, including several children and two critically ill patients.
