The senior official said in Bishkek, the venue of the event, that the West applies “infernal” sanctions against Russia and Belarus, in addition to “crude blackmail against our friends within the EEU (Eurasian Economic Union)”.
He assured that in order to overcome such difficulties, Moscow has to pursue the idea of being ready to provide advantages to the member States of this regional bloc.
Pankin stressed the importance of Russian and Belarusian agriculture for food security in the world and warned on its relevance for the current setting of the food market.
