According to that secretariat, that figure means a nearly 20-percent increase compared to that of 2021 (77.934 billion dollars).

Besides, it is higher than the record of 82.981 billion dollars reported in 2011.

According to a report cited by Telam news agency, this amount is expected to be exceeded by 2023 and reach 100 billion dollars in exports.

The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses reported that the country grossed 8.327 billion dollars in exports in April, and the Secretariat predicted a short-term increase.

For its part, the Ministry of Productive Development announced that it forecasts an economic growth of up to 7 percent in the industrial sector.
