Ukraine is sabotaging negotiation process, according to Putin

Moscow, May 27 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday in a telephone conversation with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer that Ukrainian authorities are sabotaging the negotiations between representatives from both countries, the Kremlin reported.

During the conversation, they discussed issues about global food security, and Putin referred to the attempts to shift responsibility to Moscow for difficulties in supplying agricultural products to the markets.

He noted that the real reasons for these problems arose, among other things, because of anti-Russia sanctions by the United States and the European Union.

Putin told Nehammer that the Ukrainian government should demine Ukrainian ports as soon as possible and explained about the work being done by Russian troops to ensure the safety of navigation in the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

He asked the Ukrainian side to clear the ports as soon as possible for the free passage of the blocked ships, according to the statement of the Russian presidential press service on the Internet.

At the meeting, Putin said that Russia would fulfill its contractual obligations to supply gas to Austria.
