According to the spokesman for the UN Secretary General, Stéphane Dujarric, the high-level meeting will take place in Tajikistan on June 7th and 8th.
Mohammed will travel to Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan afterwards to respond to official invitations from those countries, the spokesman said.
During her visits, she will meet with national authorities, UN staff and other partners, including representatives of women and youth, and civil society organizations.
In these meetings they will discuss how these countries deal with the three-dimensional crisis that affects food, energy and finance, the efforts to rescue the Sustainable Development Goals and leave no one behind, Dujarric said.
Mohammed will participate in the signing ceremonies of the first UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
According to the planned agenda, the deputy secretary general of the UN is expected to return to New York on June 12th.
