According to the daily report from MINSAP, all molecular biology laboratories in Cuba made 2,984 PCR tests in real time on Monday to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Of 104 active cases reported nationwide, 103 are clinically stable, while one seriously ill patient is at an intensive care unit.

At a press briefing on television, MINSAP added that 33 patients were discharged after recovering from the disease, so the total number of recovered patients rose to 1,096,798.

So far, Cuba has accumulated 1,105,490 contagions since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country in March 2020.

According to the official report, the death toll remains at 8,529.
