In a speech at the meeting on the conclusions of the comprehensive visit of the PCC Secretariat to the region, the head of State said that it is not only to provide housing to mothers, but to accompany their processes of leaving vulnerability.
As reported by the Presidency on Twitter, Diaz-Canel noted, “This is everyone’s job, because if we do not follow it properly and define the roles of each institution, the problems will not be solved. We cannot lose credibility, there must be encouragement, visits to each family and accompaniment.”
He also spoke about the tense situation of power generation in Cuba as a result of the blockade imposed by the United States and its impact on the territory during the summer.
The member of the PCC Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee, Roberto Morales, explained that it is necessary to find the causes of the problems to prevent their repetition, to carry out systemic analysis in the PCC grassroots and to strengthen the links between the party with the grassroots to solve problems.
The visit by the PCC Secretariat took place last May, when they held meetings in 33 communities in Ciego de Avila with the participation of more than 8,000 people.
