The updated technical health report admits that SARS-CoV-2 virus infections continue to increase in Mexico.

In a preliminary cut of information, the agency indicated that during the week of June 5-11, an average of 2,995 cases were registered daily. In the following days, the figure will increase with data from laboratory tests carried out on patients with symptoms during that period.

The Government is analyzing whether to resume the daily televised reports as was done during two years when the pandemic attacked the country with the greatest severity and the economy practically came to a standstill.
