Films such as “Inocencia” (2018), directed by Alejandro Gil and “José Martí: El ojo del canario” (2010), by Fernando Pérez, can be enjoyed by lovers of the seventh art at the National Cinematheque of this Central American country.
The film exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday, June 16 to Sunday, June 19, and will also screen the feature film “La Caja Negra” (2021) by director Enrique Alvarez; in addition to the documentary “Volverán los abrazos” (2021), directed, produced and scripted by Jonal Cosculluela and Maritza Caballo.
Organized by the Cuban diplomatic mission in Managua, the presentation is supported by the government of the Sandinista National Liberation Front, the Cinemateca and the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry.
