According to a statement from the mission, the chief of business Eduardo Palacios handed over the material to Dr. Zein Abd El Hady, the center´s director.
The publications, “which as a whole promote the art and different cultural manifestations of Peru, will be catalogued and made available to the public of this important institution,” the note stressed.
During the meeting, both parties agreed to establish contacts to evaluate future cooperation between this center and the National Library of Peru in the areas of cataloguing, translation, joint publications and participation in international book fairs, it said.
The text recalls that the NAC Library is located within the City of Arts and Culture complex, an institution that seeks to be the largest in the Middle East and to position itself as a destination for academics, researchers and intellectuals, as well as a center for the development of international artistic, intellectual and cultural creativity.
