This number of victims, which includes 96 men and 24 women, corresponds only to the first six months of the current year, the doctor said in statements quoted by the daily al-Watan.

He revealed that 2022 saw an increase in the death toll compared to previous years.

Last Saturday, at least 11 civilians were killed and 25 others were injured when a mine planted by terrorists exploded whe their van was passing through on their way to the wheat harvest. The radicals planted bombs and mines in the streets, houses and agricultural lands in an attempt to stop the advance of the Syrian army, and the explosion of these devices causes dozens of fatalities among displaced civilians returning to their homes.

The Syrian Army, with the support of Russia and other friendly nations, is carrying out combing and demining work in the liberated areas in order to ensure the return to normalcy.
