“With the complicity of his British lackey, the world dictator lashes out against Assange, a symbol of the press freedom, and takes him where torture and death await him. A day of mourning for humanity”, Borón wrote in his Twitter profile.

The decision was announced by the office of British Home Secretary Priti Patel, who had the journalist’s fate in her hands after the High Court in London accepted last April the appeal of U.S. prosecutors against the decision of a trial judge who refused to transfer him because of health problems.

The US intends to prosecute him for exposing war crimes committed by its military in Iraq and Afghanistan and thousands of secret files of US diplomacy.
