According to the German agency, the security of gas supplies is utterly guaranteed, but the gas flow reduction through the Nord Stream has impacted France, Austria and the Czech Republic.
The agency stressed that enterprises have kept buying gas from other suppliers, and there is still a possibility of filling the warehouses.
It also reported that the occupancy rate rose to 56.29%, exceeding the rate in the same period in 2021.
The Russian Company Gazprom informed that the Nord Stream’s capacity did not exceed 67 million cubic meters, compared to the 167 million planned due to delay of German Siemens Company in repairing pumping equipment of the Portovaya compressor station, based in St. Petersburg.
On June 1, Gazprom reported its gas exports -from January to May 2022- plummeted by 27.6% up to 61 billion cubic meters.
Exports might have declined because several nations refused to pay gas in roubles, as ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
