Putin considered a priority the need to equip Russian troops with new arms systems that will determine the combat capability of the Army and Navy in the coming years and decades.
In this regard, he gave as an example the development of laser and electromagnetic weapons, among others, and warned about the importance of perfecting the intensive training of units and troops, in interaction with allies from other countries.
The head of State drew attention to the first intercontinental ballistic missile system Sarmat, which, according to him, will be put into combat service by the end of 2022.
