In an exchange with the press, the senior official stressed that cooperation in the field of medical care with the countries of the group (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) is actively developing.
He explained that at the meeting of BRICS health ministers, a final declaration was approved, which welcomed the project of the joint system for coping with mass epidemiological risks and highlighted the preparation of the center for research and development of vaccines, inaugurated in March.
“I am sure that it will become a starting point for great achievements of our countries in the field of vaccine production,” the Russian head noted.
Murashko reported that during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (Spief), which concluded last week, he met with Indian Minister of Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya, a meeting at which they discussed the possibility of sharing mutual drug deliveries and developing nuclear medicine.
