Opening the 11th edition of the National Arab Islamic Conference in this capital, Haniyeh stressed that the resistance after the Battle of the Sword of Al-Quds in May 2021, came out stronger, resilient and ready to defend the Palestinian cause.
The Hamas leader defended the ability of the axis of struggle to face challenges and changes, while insisting on the need for unity of the fronts in the face of any aggression from Israel.
Haniyeh emphasized full solidarity with Lebanon to protect its rights, especially in light of the occupation’s attempt to attack its water resources on the southern border.
For his part, Deputy Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hizbulah (Party of God) Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed that the only and exclusive solution to confront Israel is resistance in all its forms and “any other option is a waste of time,” he stressed.
The Lebanese Islamic Resistance member condemned the neighbor’s threats and its expansionist ambition in the region from the ocean to the Gulf, using the oppression of Palestine as a prelude.
