Under the production of Aquino and maestro Enrique Perez Mesa, the work includes a concert performed at the Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso, with the orchestral arrangements assumed, in previous decades, by pianist and flutist Rembert Egües to the works of Ernesto Lecuona.
The filmic proposal is also influenced by maestro Frank Fernandez, soloists and choir of the Opera de la Calle company, soprano Laura Ansorena, tenor Humberto Bernal and Cuban-American violinist Jaime Jorge, accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra.
Al fin Lecuona, recorded in 2019 and released on digital platforms a year later, compiles the most celebrated creations of the also author of La comparsa, El crisantemo, Mariposa and the zarzuelas Rosa la China, Maria la O and El cafetal.
