According to the statement, the warning will be in force until weather conditions improve and is due to the prevalence of winds in low pressure systems.

According to data from Hydrometeorology of the Electricity Transmission Company, the hurricane could enter Nicaragua between July 1 and 2.

The authorities asked the population to remain calm and to follow the official information accounts on the gradual deterioration of the weather.

Following the warning, coordination and institutional links have been activated for monitoring and surveillance throughout the country, Sinaproc added.

For meteorologist Blas Córdoba, it should be taken into account that the Canal country is in its rainy season, in the middle of the hurricane season.

Speaking to the TVN news channel, the expert indicated that they are following the current tropical wave, which could become a cyclone and pass between the dawn of next Friday or Saturday over the Caribbean Sea in front of Panama and enter Central America, possibly Nicaragua.
